Travis Barker talks about "In A Warzone" on American Idol's red carpet

Transplants are set to release their third studio album, "In A Warzone" – a record which Travis Barker refers to as "harder" than previous releases of the punk rock project. Billboard caught up with Barker at the "American Idol" finale where he revealed that the record features guest appearances by Bun B, Paul Wall, and EQUIPTO.

"There are songs that make you want to smack the shit out of somebody and there are songs that are just good driving songs. There are songs with Paul that are a little bit like surf inspired guitar. It's all over the place," says Barker.

Following the album's release, Rancid and Transplants plan to head out for a run of east coast dates in June. The tour will then continue with west coast shows in July, which Barker says will be followed by several spot dates with Blink 182.

"In A Warzone" will be released on Epitaph Records on July 25.
