Tom Delonge of Blink 182 fame is the brains and brawn behind the mysterious Macbeth brand. With a steez for simple looking sneakers that are a big hit in emo-rock circles, Delonge has built the brand with the help of a network of musician friends (Tegan and Sarah anyone?) and family that have created some unlikely shoe collaborations. From strumming strings to lacing laces, Delonge has also used his vegan principles to guide the direction of the product. It’s taken a minute to track him down but finally here it is... Mr Macbeth himself!

• The Angels And Airwaves' movie pushed back. It may be release with their new album.
• Next Angels And Airwaves record may sound like the new Blink album.
• Blink won't do much touring. But he did say they will be touring in a big event this summer. Which could be Warped Tour, but no further info was given.
• Blink on Modlife is a real possibility. Tom also said that both Mark and Travis like the idea about it. He also said that since he and the rest of everyone on Angels And Airwaves' Modlife are tied together, he might make the Blink's Modlife free for people who suscribe to Angels And Airwaves.
• Angels And Airwaves might not be touring. They won't be in studio this year because Tom is in the studio with Blink.
• Blink is NOT temporary. They will be releasing their album this year, as well as touring.
• Blink and Angels And Airwaves Modlife might be two for the price of one.
• Tom ALMOST played part of a Blink demo, but he decided not to because he knew that it would be bootleged all over and that he should talk to Mark and Travis about it first.
• David, Matt, and Atom are apparently working on their own project down in the studio that Tom said he will tell us later about.

Tom DeLonge is what I like to refer to as a "chronic yet talented multitasker." This dude does just about everything and is probably one of the busiest guys around. First and foremost, you probably know him as one-third of Blink-182 and the singer of Angels & Airwaves, but he's also the mastermind behind Mod Life and the owner of Macbeth Shoes.

Despite being a busy guy, Tom invited us to Macbeth's headquarters to talk about the importance of having bands involved in Macbeth—especially when it comes to designing footwear. (Remember Macbeth's collaboration with Fred Mascherino?) Not only is Tom a rock star, he is also a businessperson—and he acknowledges how important it is for Macbeth to always offer vegan alternatives—which is sweet for us and even sweeter for animals!

After hearing Tom talk about all his projects, I decided that I would never whine about being too busy ever again. Perhaps we should all strive to be just as busy as Tom DeLonge, especially if it means getting active for animals!
