Edit: I read through some of the comments. Thanks for the excitement but there is no +44 reunion. Just stickers on cases at rehearsal. Changing the set up quite a bit for Musink. Not a greatest hits show. There will be lots of singles but also some fun and fast songs from the past. It's gonna be a good time!

Is there a future for + 44?

Yeah, there's definitely a future for + 44. We're obviously not working on anything right now. Blink is my number one priority, and my TV show on Fuse [Hoppus on Music], and my family. But I would love to make another record.

The recording process is goin well! We finished laying down the music tracks here in LA, now we are off to the Bionic Ear in Costa Mesa, CA to lay down the vocals, keys, and a little salt n peppa. The new songs are soundin really cool! Can’t wait for everyone to hear them. We should have it for you in the next 4-6 weeks or so and then we are coming to a town near you!

"Travis is home healing, so right now we're just totally on a break, waiting for him to heal up," Hoppus told MTV News backstage at the mtvU Woodie Awards in New York. "I've been writing a bunch of stuff and getting a lot of songs together. We'll just have to see what happens over the next few months."

i know that many of you are anxious to hear about what’s up in +44 world, and we are still in pre-production. although i have half a mind to post one of the demos up here one of these days. i wonder if the label would sue me if i did? can they do that? probably, right?

for everyone like me who has been wondering what’s going on with the +44’s, here’s the deal. this whole time we’ve been continuing to write and demo ideas on our own. the only thing is we’ve been waiting for the label to fund the recording, and this just came through. i understand everyone wondering what’s the deal, and believe me a lot has happened that i haven’t posted the minutia of. do you like how i ended that last sentence in a preposition? in any case, all is good. we’re just guys writing songs. but we’re gonna flip it this time around. now just for fun i’m going to really confuse the issue and go back to saying we’re recording an electronic album with me, travis, and carol. and we’re recording the album in brazil. but truthfully, thanks for the support and interest and know that we’re here working as always, and as always we’re creative people with a lot of ideas and energies. but nothing is closer to our hearts than recording our own music.
