I WON AN AWARD!!! last week i did a photo shoot where we rented a movie prop octopus instead of getting a dead one from a fish market. we saved an octopus’s life. when we did it, i tweeted this : “i’m doing a photo shoot this week and paying nearly $1000 for a movie prop octopus so a real one doesn’t have to die. do i get an award?” well, lo and behold, i actually received an award!!

peta2 is presenting me with a “compassionate choice” award for using the fake octopus in the photos. stoked!!! thanks very much for the kind thought. you can read about it here.

i especially want to thank them for using a photo of a younger, heavier, mark hoppus who is much in need of a haircut. i really looked like that?!?! someone get me on a treadmill! by the way, i worked out yesterday. a fact of which i will brag about all week.
