Travis Barker Files For Divorce From Shanna Moakler
Stars of 'Meet the Barkers' ending marriage after 22 months.

First Nick and Jessica, then Carmen and Dave — and now Travis and Shanna?

Times sure are tough for former MTV reality-show couples.

On Tuesday (August 8), a rep for Travis Barker confirmed that the former Blink-182 drummer has filed for divorce from onetime Miss USA Shanna Moakler, his wife of 22 months and his co-star on MTV's "Meet the Barkers."

"He filed this morning," Dvora Vener told MTV News. "I have no further comment."

The couple was married in October 2004, in a "Nightmare Before Christmas"-inspired wedding at the Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, California, and their nuptials (and subsequent wedded life) were broadcast over the airwaves on "Barkers," beginning in April 2005. Barker and Moakler dealt with familial dilemmas like picking out furniture, accidentally ordering a $10,000 Christmas tree and pregnancy over the course of the show's two seasons.

Barker and Moakler have two children together, a son, Landon, 2, and a daughter, Alabama, 7 months. Moakler also has a daughter, 7-year-old Atiana, from a previous relationship with boxer Oscar de la Hoya.

Moakler posted a message to fans on her MySpace page that reads, in part, "I am very devastated and very much heartbroken over the demise of my marriage. ... I wanted nothing more [than] to overcome the challenges we faced, but failed. ... I still very much believe in the power of love."

The announcement of their split ends months of rumors that there was trouble brewing within the marriage. Most recently, the couple put their Bel-Air mansion on the market for $8.5 million.

Barker recently acknowledged the other major split in his life — that of his multiplatinum band Blink-182 — when he told MTV News about his latest project with Mark Hoppus, Plus-44.
